MSC/ARIES [The Macneal-Schwendler Corporation]

MSC/XL allows interactive graphics modeling, results processing, andclose interfacing to MSC's analysis programs. MSC/XL's modeling featuresinclude geometry creation, element meshing, extensive finite elementediting, element and material property specification, and application ofboundary conditions. These features are performed in a graphicsenvironment, saving the user time and effort in creating and verifyingmodels.MSC/XL also displays analysis results in a variety of formats. Itidentifies results that are available for postprocessing; the user simplypicks the items of interest. Using MSC/XL's graphics presentation tools,the user can create plots of deformed shape vs. undeformed shape, shadedstress contours, and other useful representations.
